Coming from a state like Goa where the retail fashion market has less presence, I bothered less when it came to dressing and grooming myself. Most of the times I bought clothes from local retailers who sold the clothes of lower quality but at high rates. When it came to clothing I cared less even to know the brand names. Infact it was my friend who suggested to try this latest Peter England store which had opened up. I hesitated for a moment thinking it was a foreign brand, but my friend explained me it comes under Aditya Birla Group which is an Indian company Hearing those three words there was no turning back. I barged into the store and was surprised with quality Peter England offered. That became my ‘go to’ brand from that day onwards. Recently I have developed a liking for the range of apparels Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Group is providing. Peter England, Allen Solly, Louis Phillipe, Van Heusen offer diverse price ranges and quality which will tempt any user to shop everytime he visits a retail store. Moreover, the discounts offered and the points rewarded are unbeatable in its own way and I am sure no other brand will offer premium quality at the cost of a price cut. With clothing wear of impeccable quality, one sure has to feel sense of pride infront of their peers and that is the beauty of Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Ltd. ABFRL ensures that one is well dressed and he feels confident whenever he has to interact with people from social circles and families. My takeaways from wearing ABFRL clothing is that I leave with a positive impression on my counterparts and it gets easier to build their trust.
How did you overcome your biggest challenge?
Every individual must have had certain challenges which they overcame eventually, but for me it was not about conquering the challenge but more about controlling and acting according to the situation of what I felt was apt. My engineering life provided me with various life lessons I will cherish for the rest of my life. I entered my engineering life thinking I will learn something new and interesting. Although I had my quizzing background I was still introverted and shy to express my views and opinions infront of people. I also realised the curriculum was tilted more towards academic excellence and less encouragement was given to us to participate in other events. I wanted to leave a mark for myself in some way or the other. In the second year one day we all were sitting in a class full of students and the teacher asked who wanted to become the new class representative. Everyone was stunned and no one was ready to take that responsibility. I myself was wondering why is no one ready to raise the hand. I thought for a moment and said to myself ‘This is it!’ and I raised my hand. Everyone had their jaws drop for a moment but I was ready to face the challenge. This was more than a challenge for me as I had to get rid of my inner inhibitions and break onto the scene. The professor had a smile on his face. He announced me as the new class representative of the class without having any bias towards me. I learnt two lessons that day, have courage to express your opinions and own up to the responsibility even if you think you are incapable of the job because the learnings from that experience will be massive.
